｢日本画像学会｣は、最先端のイメージング領域に関する討論の場の提供を通じて、ハードコピーをはじめとする各種マーキング技術、電子ペーパー／エレクトロニック･イメージング／新規イメージング技術／デジタルファブリケーション技術などについて、それらの基礎研究や実用技術の発展に貢献しています。本年次大会は、これらの分野でご活躍中の多くの皆様が一堂に会し、日頃の研究や開発の成果発表を通じて活発な討論と意見交換ができる貴重な機会です。
イメージングの主要な位置を占めてきたプリンティングが、新技術目白押しの時代が過ぎて久しく、技術極限に達したといわれる一方、Digital Fabricationが確固とした地位を占めるなど新たな発展を模索する動きも見えます。今回は『Imaging Technology Beyond Limitation』と題して、イメージング技術がいかに処していくべきかを探っていきたいと考えています。
なお今回もより活発な討議を行うべく、オーラル、インタラクティブ（ポスター）の両セッションとし、インタラクティブ（ポスター）セッションではベストポスター賞、編集委員長賞を準備しました。
多くの皆様の発表を期待します。
“Imaging Conference JAPAN 2013”, the 111st Annual Conference of the Imaging Society of Japan will be held with the following agenda.
The “Imaging Society of Japan” provides opportunities to discuss the leading-edge imaging science and technology including hardcopy and various marking technologies, novel imaging technologies such as electronic paper and other electronic imaging system, as well as digital fabrication technology to contribute to progress in all the related fields. This annual conference is the valuable opportunity when it is possible for active discussion and exchange of ideas through the latest investigations for members.
We hope this conference will make good discussions of imaging technologies for the first atep to obtain solution for "imaging Technology, Beyond Limitation"!
