Invitation & General Information
Following the preliminary symposium in 1999 (Osaka), Korea-Japan Joint Symposia on Imaging Materials and Technologies were held in 2000 (Osaka), 2001 (Kyoungju), 2002 (Yokohama), 2003 (Busan), 2004 (Kyoto) sponsored by Korean Society for Imaging Science and Technology (KSIST) and the Imaging Society of Japan (ISJ). KSIST and ISJ will together hold the 6th Korea-Japan Joint Symposium in Busan on December 1-2, 2005.

Speaker Information
Presentations can be made via a PC or with an overhead projector. If you wish to use a PC for your presentation, it must be made available on a portable media (floppy disk, CD-rom, or memory stick) in a standard Microsoft Office format (e.g. Powerpoint). There is a standard VGA cable which will link your laptop directly to the projector. While we would like to minimize this activity, you may run your presentation from your laptop if you wish. Presentations need to be downloaded onto the PC in the conference hall during the session break prior to your presentation. Alternatively, you can e-mail your presentation to the symposium chairs (ktlimpknu.ac.kr).

Call for papers
The title of presentation should be sent to symposium chairs, ktlimpknu.ac.kr (for Korean participants) or Nithoshinoaol.com (for Japanese participants) before October 6, 2005.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically (saved as MS Word format.) as an e-mail attachment to ktlimpknu.ac.kr (for Korean participants) or Nithoshinoaol.com (for Japanese participants) before November 10, 2005, and should be followed the sample format which is sent separately.

Registration Fees
200,000 Won for participant, 100,000 Won for student. 100,000 Won for accompanying person
On-site registration only.
The fee covers participation in all scientific sessions, proceedings, refreshments, lunches 1 - 2 December 2005, Welcome reception, Symposium reception, Boat sightseeing, and Banquet.
Hotel reservation
The symposium secretary has reserved a number of rooms at advantageous rates in the Haeundae Riviera Hotel which is near to the symposium site for participants. The room reservations could be made through completing the related part in the registration form to the symposium chair, not to the hotel. But the accommodation fees could be paid directly to the hotel when you check out by cash or credit card. If you need further information about the hotels, please check the hotel website.
