日本画像学会年次大会(通算第137回)“Imaging Conference JAPAN 2026” を下記要領にて開催いたします．

日本画像学会年次大会(通算第137回)“Imaging Conference JAPAN 2026”を下記要領にて開催いたします．「日本画像学会」は，最先端のイメージング領域に関する討論の場の提供を通じて，プリンターやデジタル印刷やデジタル加飾などのハードコピーをはじめとする各種マーキング技術，フレキシブルデバイス/エレクトロニックイメージング/新規イメージング技術/Additive Manufacturingなどについて，それらの基礎研究や実用技術の発展に貢献しています．また，「画像価値多様化への挑戦」として，本大会に協賛いただく他学協会との連携と「デジタルテキスタイル」や「加飾」など新規分野への拡張にも取り組んできました. 年次大会は，”来て・見て・語れ　若い力とつながりが拓く画像技術の未来”を掲げて，現在ご活躍中の皆様が一堂に会することで生まれる”つながり”から，イノベーションを引き起こすことを目的としています．特に今回は，若手の方の参画と活躍を期待し、参加費特別価格やイベント等を検討しています．技術者の皆様方の積極的な発表論文投稿をお待ちしております．

講演タイトル：「世の中を変えたQRコードの原点と成長」
講演要旨：QRコードは誕生してから今年で32年を迎えました．今でも世界中の人々があらゆる場所で使用し，社会に欠かせないインフラまでに成長しました．そこで，ORコードを開発した当時を振返り，QRコード発想の原点と普及シナリオ，世界中の人々に受け入られるようになった要因についてお話しします．また，あまり知られていないQRコードの特長，進化したQRコード，最近のQRコードの活用事例などについて紹介します．

The “Imaging Conference JAPAN 2026 Meeting” will be held following the agenda described below.

The Imaging Society of Japan Annual Conference (137th in total) “Imaging Conference JAPAN 2026” will be held as follows. The Imaging Society of Japan contributes to the development of basic research and practical technologies in various marking technologies, including printers, digital printing, digital decoration, and other hard copies, flexible devices, electronic imaging, new imaging technologies, additive manufacturing, and more, by providing a forum for discussion on cutting-edge imaging fields. In addition, as a “Challenge of Diversifying Image Value”, we have been working to collaborate with other academic associations that sponsor this conference and expand into new fields such as “digital textiles” and “decorations”. The annual conference aims to stimulate innovation from the “connections” created by bringing together all the participants in current active under the slogan ” Come, Watch, and Discuss, Young Talent and the Nexus Pioneers the Future of Imaging Technology”. Especially this year, we expect the participation and success of young people, and we are considering special events, participation fee discounts, and more. We look forward to receiving active submissions of papers from all engineers.

Title: “The Origins and Growth of the QR Code That Changed the World”
Abstract: This year marks the 32nd anniversary of the QR code’s creation. Today, people worldwide use it everywhere, and it has grown into essential social infrastructure. This presentation will revisit the era when the QR code was developed, discussing the origins of the QR code concept, its adoption scenario, and the factors that led to its global acceptance. It will also introduce lesser-known features of the QR code, its evolution, and recent application examples.
