The scope of the track covers overall technologies of image acquisition including camera, image sensor and systems of image capturing, sensing of radiation and emission including analysis of radiation tracks, acquisition and modeling of material appearance for various objects, and restoration and archiving of images.

| Track 4 offers sessions to discuss characteristics, tasks and applications of basic materials for imaging that change optical features by physical or chemical changes. We will also examine research in the early stages from scientific viewpoints and discuss their possible application devices in terms of tasks and solutions. Further, we will address a wide variety of imaging materials from display devices to printing materials. |

Papers from novel research fields on 3D printing and printed electronics are highly welcomed as well as papers from print related fields such as pre/post press, color management, digital workflow, security, and archive technologies. |
