In 2008, the Imaging Society of Japan (ISJ) observes the 50th anniversary since 1958. The ISJ is greatly proud of worldwide contributions in the image science and hard copy technology fields. Taking this opportunity, we have an International Conference on imaging science and technologies named “Pan-Pacific Imaging Conference '08 (PPIC '08)”, jointly with the society of Photographic Science and Technology of Japan (SPSTJ), to establish a stronger network with Asia, Oceania, North America and European countries.This conference is also to be extended ISJ and SPSTJ annual conferences.
   The PPIC '08 conference committee cordially invites you to join us and let discuss and consider the future imaging and hardcopy technologies with us. The conference affords all of participants a good opportunity to learn about the latest technical development and to find the future direction of imaging science and technologies. The conference is planned with everyday keynote papers, valuable reviews on the state-of-arts in each country of Pan-Pacific rim, along with invited papers, technical papers and contributed poster presentations.
