Guide-lines for Poster Preparation for Interactive Presentation
The following information is provided to assist you in preparing your poster for display in the poster session.
Poster panel: 1.0 m high and 1.8m wide.
Magnet or adhesive material will be supplied to you at the conference.
Attendees will read your poster materials from a distance of one meter (three feet) or more so all lettering should be large and legible. Care should be taken not to include too much information on your poster.
Displayed text and figures should be designed to show the essence of your work. Details are best presented in a form that is easy to interpret visually without requiring a great deal of reading at the poster board. Color images, illustrations figures, and plots that illustrate your work are effective.
Each page of your presentation should have a descriptive heading. Display the materials in a logical sequence. The title of presentation, author(s) and affiliation(s) should be clearly indicated on your poster.
It is not acceptable to simply affix copies of your paper from the proceedings to your poster board.
It is important that you stand by your poster paper during the scheduled time of the individual poster session so that you are available to discuss your work with attendees. We hope that you will enjoy the lively interaction that this direct contact with attendees provides.
The poster representatives for the 3 tracks will inform you later concerning the details of your room assignment and time schedule for presentation by e-mail. PPIC'08 committee can make arrangement for special equipment at the presenter's expense upon request. Please let us know of your needs as soon as possible.
